Amber Fort is one of the adventures and historical fort of Jaipur. It’s another name is Amer Fort. It is approximately 11 K.M. far from Jaipur bus stand and typically the amer fort timings are 8:30AM to 5:00PM everyday. Amber fort elephant ride is also there for everyone while it is very famous fort among foreigners tourist. It is situated on the top of the mountain hill. Pink city king Mirza Raja Man Singh built Amber fort. It is unbelievable example of Hindu and Rajput architecture. It is situated on Delhi – Jaipur Highway between wooded hills, its massive ramparts Maota shows the image of the lake stands.
In the ancient time Amer (Ambibkapur and Ambawati) was known as the capital of the kings Kchwah. After the death of Mirja Raja Man Singh, Present King Sawai Jai Singh built some new buildings according to their suitability. The mixed nature of Hindu and Persian-style castle holds a unique place in the country with lot to discuss on history of amber fort. It is a main part of Jaipur sightseeing places.
There are many beautiful palace such as Diwan E Aam, A private musician room and Sukh Niwas where for the purpose of the air passing through the water Jirion cool air flows. Diwan E Aam was built by red and white marble stone. Diwane E Khas and Sheesh Mahal are special center of tourist attraction. Rumours were spread that Amer fort haunted in night time but were not evident with proof. Several private residence rooms were built for queens.
